Physiotherapists assess functional abilities, identify limitations and offer appropriate techniques to improve mobility, reduce pain and support rehabilitation. The approach varies according to each patient’s circumstances and condition.
In France, physiotherapy sessions are generally provided on medical prescription, particularly in order to be covered by the French national health insurance system. Direct access is possible in certain situations, but remains limited under the current legal framework.
A session begins with an assessment that includes a discussion of your symptoms, progress and goals. The practitioner then carries out tests or mobilisation techniques before selecting the most appropriate approach, such as exercises, gentle mobilisation, postural work or personalised advice. The content of each session is adapted to your condition on the day.
The number of sessions depends on the condition being treated, how long it has been present, your progress and the goals established with your doctor. An initial estimate may be provided at the beginning of treatment, but this may change depending on your progress. The French national health insurance system has established specific rules for this.
The practice is located in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, near the boundary with the 12th arrondissement, between Place de la Nation and Faidherbe-Chaligny.
Address: 265 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Antoine, 75011 Paris

In France, fees are regulated and depend on the prescribed treatment. Part of the
cost is covered by the French national health insurance system, and the remaining
amount may be covered by your supplementary health insurance. The exact amount
therefore depends on your personal coverage and the type of treatment provided.
For further information, please contact your CPAM and supplementary health insurer.
